The Winter is Here!
Visit Hope County in winter season and enjoy beautiful post-apocalyptic Montana scenery in snow.
All vegetation textures are created with snow texture.
For the best experience you can enable the package "Indian Summer Time" from Scavenger Mod which makes the Sun to be in lower height above horizon, just like in the winter season. You can also enable "Color Remap - Overgrown" which removes color remap and fog from green forest areas.
Installation and usage
- Download the data pack.
- Next, download HD only if you have HD Textures Pack installed and enabled, otherwise download non-HD version of the mod.
- Only if you don't have it - download Mod Installer and unpack it
- Unzip downloaded zip and put files "_FCND_WinterHopeCounty2035" to the ModifiedFilesND folder
- Run FCNDModInstaller.exe and select Winter Hope County 2035 package
- Install the package using the "Install" button.
- Play a game.
Known issues
There are just small issues which will be fixed in future updates of the mod.
- The mod causing little FPS drop (for me about 2), exactly when you are going through a bush, I don't know why.
Development history
After Winter mod for FC5 I decided to make it also for New Dawn, since it's in the same location. Some players are think that winter fits post-apocalyptic Montana better (like nuclear winter).
